Meet Susan Rodimon
My name is Susan Rodimon. I am 66 years young and still love my crafts. I have been sewing since I was 8 years old and as time went on I learned many other crafts such as macramé, knitting, crochet, quilting, jewelry making, working with clay and finally Pine Needle Art.
Since I retired and moved to Florida my crafting has flourished. I have been involved in a few art shows and I am very proud to have my creations in Artisans on Fifth in Mount Dora.
I am a member of the Lake County Quilt Guild (LCQG) for over four years and a member of the new Lake County Museum of Art in Tavares. JELASF pine needle creations is now my passion. I use pine needles from Florida pine trees, Galaces one ply waxed thread, sometimes metal wire, beads, shells, very bright colored fabrics and other various crafty pieces. I have been making baskets and other things now for almost two years and I am addicted. Find your passion and run with it. ENJOY!
